We had a lot of snow here at Mummy&Bunny HQ last week. But are so glad the rain came & washed it all away. We had so much fun playing in the snow. It’s amazing how children can bring the excitement back to the simple things. Seeing their little faces light up & the joy snow brings to them, got us all excited. It also was a welcome break from the mud and life of lockdown 3.0.

I can’t believe that was a week ago already! Anyone else feel like the time is slipping by so fast?

This weekend is a very special one for us as our little one 🐰 turns 1️⃣ !! What a fabulous milestone!! 🥰 We honestly do not know where the time has gone!! 😭

A fair chunk of maternity leave has been in lockdown which has been tough not seeing family & friends & for them to miss out on a big chunk of her growing up. BUT there’s so much more growing up do.. & lockdown is over... (ish) for now!! We think.. or is it?! 🤔

Just because we can’t have a BIG party doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate. We’ll have to have lots of mini celebrations..!!

Today charity are celebrating rainbow baby day. 🌈 We are so lucky to have our little rainbow baby after going through some pretty rough & dark times. We never did find out why we had as many miscarriages as we did. Turns out my horoscope was right & my lucky number definitely number 6️⃣♎️🥰 But Tommy’s did help us & after an operation, support & guidance from a fabulous consultant & team we have our amazing little girl 🎀 & for that we will be eternally grateful. 🥰
•

For the next 24hrs I shall be donating the cost of every 6th ribbon ring sold to Tommy’s charity to celebrate our beautiful baby daughter & to Thank Tommy’s for everything
•
•
Tommy’s have just started a fundraiser on their FB page I shall put the link in my bio if you would like to donate.

Tommy’s are celebrating the little lives that have been made possible thanks to their research.
•
•
They are able to bring beautiful banquets into the world because of kind donations. research is not possible without help & kind donations.

The symbol of the rainbow has been used by members of the baby loss community for many years now. A rainbow baby is born after miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. For parents, rainbows symbolise hope & light after a dark time.

On Rainbow Baby Day, we celebrate the babies born thanks to the pioneering research clinics in London, Birmingham & Manchester & life changing scientific discoveries - thanks to the Rainbow Clinic in Manchester they have managed to cut stillbirth by a third in the Greater Manchester Area.
•

Every £1000 raised could enable Tommy’s to provide 10 ultrasound scans at one of their research clinics & could pay for a Fetal Heath Monitoring Vest prototype currently being tested to monitor the baby’s wellbeing.
