640,000 tons of ghost gear fishing nets are dumped at sea each year and if we continue dumping at the rate we are, by 2050 there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish. Since 2011 I have diverted over 1800 tons out of potential dumping or landfill sites and into viable recycling streams. We are now recycling this ourselves to create a marine grade polymer called OceanAmid.

Proud to be helping setup a similar project to mine in Sri Lanka called Sea Change which aims at cleaning the shorelines of the 1000’s tons of discarded fishing nets and preparing them for recycling.
Great to be helping smaller communities in lesser developed areas of the world by providing the locals with work and making their living environment more habitable.
