For the first time in forever I am NOT going to Shimmy up North at Borwick with Farida dance. :( I am trying to retire from full on production and just sew when I feel like it so I don't have much in the way of 'stock' to take. Watch out for me at more local haflas where I sell off remaining bits and bobs....

In the great 'New Year Workshop tidy' I am finding and fondling interesting fabrics. Little tidying has been done. :) I am sorry to tell you that all the best fabrics are going to be made into something for ME! Just me. :) New pants, new tops and maybe even a blouse in fancy fabric. Holiday due in March and I'm packing that suitcase with new things! I'm sure I'll get back to belly sewing soon. Keep watching.

It's 2025! It's a brand new year! What's happening? Well, I'm not entirely sure. I'm cutting back on the sewing but still have some things to sell on. So keep your eyes peeled for posts about SALES and BARGAINS and OLD STOCK, they will be coming but probably not this week :)

As most of you may know I am due to have breast surgery soon (right after Dance JoY) and thus there will be a pause in the creation continuum. :)

I don't have a clue when I will get back to it, or even if.... I'm looking at space, insurance and other interests and plan some adjustments. I may just make things for a few mates (or those with interesting projects) or I may just take it all down the dump (not likely but you never know) so if you want stuff, see me at JoY, after that I will post excess stock every now and then.

Next project - just trying to find fabrics that 'work' with this gorgeous 2-tone chiffon skirt. I think we've cracked it. More will follow when plans develop. I tend to work from the fabric rather than drawing a design and then finding fabric to use. So anything could happen :)

Work in progress - updating and modernising a shop-bought beaded dress. Freshly lined with copper lame and now I'm busy adding sequins for movement. It's called: 'If Marilyn was a Ginger' :)
