What a lovely morning! ☕✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined me for our Baby Fayre networking event in Belper today.

It was brilliant to have a variety of businesses who all share a passion for supporting babies, children and families — making new connections, sharing experiences, swapping ideas and discovering ways we can support and collaborate with one another.

A special thank you to Lauren from Mums on the Move for joining us as our guest speaker and sharing her journey of building a community, not just a customer base. There were definitely some great takeaways to bring back into our own businesses! 💡

This is exactly what I want these networking events to be about:

Next week I'm bringing together some brilliant local businesses who all have one thing in common - they work with and support babies, children and families 💛

And if you’ve been looking at our networking events thinking “I’m not really a networking person…” — this might just be the one for you!

This isn’t about awkward sales pitches or walking into a room and trying to sell your business to everyone you meet.

Instead, expect a relaxed couple of hours filled with:

So far, I have two Nottinghamshire Baby Fayre events planned, one in Mansfield (November) and one in Colwick (April).

I'm so excited to welcome Lauren from Mums on the Move as our guest speaker at our next Baby Fayre networking event in Belper!

Lauren will be joining us to talk about Building a Community, not just a Customer Base — sharing the Mums on the Move journey, how they’ve created a genuine community around what they do and some of the lessons other family-focused businesses can take into their own businesses.

Because when you work with children and families, it’s about so much more than making a sale. It’s about building relationships, creating trust and finding your people. ✨
