Inspireation 21

Inspireation 21 We are a group of like-minded textile artists from in & around Chesterfield, on the edge of The Peak District in Derbyshire.

The name InSPIREation 21 is a nod to where & why we meet. We meet in Chesterfield, a town famous for it's crooked church SPIRE. We meet because we want to be with like minded people who we can bounce ideas off & who inspire us. We have a maximum of 21 members in our group at any time. We hold exhibitions of our work in local galleries & art spaces every 2 years. Last year our exhibition was entitl

ed Tribal & was housed at the Hardwick Park Centre. Our exhibitions usually take place in the summertime for a period of approximately 2 weeks. Our next exhibition is in the summer of 2015.

We meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month, where we exchange ideas, listen to speakers from the world of textile art, participate in workshops & organise trips to places of interest pertaining to the work we are doing.
