I’ve been extremely lucky to have works alongside some of the top uk designers, working on their new collections and red carpet couture.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with hundreds of gorgeous brides, bridesmaids and bridal party members (as well as grooms to tailor suits!)
Which I have come highly recommended from local stores or their friends 🤍

Other than experience I have a rule book, which is simply -

Treat a bride how you’d want to be treated yourself, with honesty, professionalism and a sprinkle of humour. Because seriously, your wedding journey should be fun!
My purpose is to make every bride feel happy, excited, comfortable and that they’ve just been visiting an old friend in preparation for their celebration!

The loveliest bride, Emily, tied the knot surrounded by the stunning blue waters of Norway aboard a cruise ship!

What an unforgettable celebration—made even more special when the captain invited them to pour the champagne waterfall! 🍾

For Emily’s gown, I completed a full bodice resize, added extra corsetry for enhanced shape and support, adjusted the hem length, and refined the skirt to beautifully complement her figure. The result was a perfect fit for her special day. 🤍

A bespoke handmade veil, designed especially to sit perfectly beneath a bun. 👰🏼

My bride always knew she wanted to show off the beautiful twisted detail her stylist created in her hairstyle… which meant ditching the classic comb a veil normally comes with.

Instead, I’ve used delicate loops for hair pins to slide through — the perfect way to keep the look clean, comfortable, and secure, while feeling so lightweight you can forget it’s even there. 🤍

With bespoke silk chiffon sleeves added to her stunning gown, Alice had just a few words to share….

With a full resize, bespoke detachable sleeves and little elements to make Alice feel comfortable for the whole day, these pictures and words are simply the best to receive knowing each little adjustment and addition made her dress perfect for the day.

Toiling sneak peek 🪡
A crucial stage to getting the perfect fit on a bespoke wedding dress and making sure all proportions are in place.

A toile is the perfect time to make sure your pattern and measurements are on point, but it also gives the bride an opportunity to change up anything that doesn’t feel right for her.

For me I like to toile in fabrics with a similar weight and structure to what the finished garment will have. (Especially for the bodice)
So for this client using classic coutil for the corset (which will be used in the real gown) and a soft lace on the bodice to replicate French chantilly was a prefect replica of what we are going to use. For her skirt I wasn’t worried about the fabrics being a classic circle cut shape…So don’t worry it won’t be this see through!

I absolutely love this part of the process. You can be critical to your own work as you are problem solving, working out new techniques that are unique for the clients design as well as actually seeing the shape compliment the bride beautifully 🤍

Now time to get stuck into the actual dress. She’s going to be a beauty!

Emma came to me loving her dress but feeling slightly unsure about elements…it just needed a bit of personalisation to make it her own.

An incredible creative herself, the dress was ‘ok’ but it wasn’t quite there to fit her unique style…

After a chat through preferences, we decided to remake the bodice detail using guipure lace and redesigning the neckline, sleeves and back opening detail.

Along with classic alterations this was the perfect change to make the dress HERS 🤍
Now in keeping with her personality, style and the wedding itself, they celebrated at their home farm surrounded by family, friends and not forgetting the animals! In a relaxed but fun celebration.

“I just wanted to drop a message to say thank you so so much for being such a big part of the wedding prep.
Having a dress that is completely unique to me was such a treat and I had so many compliments on it on the day. I was so comfortable I wore it all day/night! You were fantastic from day 1 and even though we only met a handful of times you were so kind and supportive it was like having an extra friend rooting for me - I felt the same way about my MUA and photographer it feels super weird to suddenly no longer be speaking to or seeing you all.“

The gorgeous Rosie, wearing bespoke By Brooke for her November wedding.
Rosie’s dress was created in the most stunning silk chiffon and satin from for her easy breezy soft style.

Designed off one of her favourite dress shapes we worked with the proportions to create the perfect style for Rosie with delicate bridal details to make it feel that extra special.

Can we also appreciate the embroidered trainers?! 😍
