IKEA definitely have the right idea of a sewing room…
It’s been a busy week here. We’ve had 8 around the table catching up with an old friend and her teens. It’s lovely watching all our children chatting away and expressing opinions. Seems like only yesterday they were little people (often with just as big opinions 😉).
My teapot friend visited yesterday and we, as usual, put the world to rights and caught up on our various news.
Today we have friends visiting from Essex and we’re off to Bath tomorrow for a day out (or today, I promise I was listening 😳)
And then Friday, Saturday and Sunday is when I put on my mum cape and become ’Super Mum!’ and ferry my 3 teens around the country to their various social events. 1 has work, 2 have sleepovers, birthday celebrations and parties.
Today they will attempt to put up the tent to see if all the poles made it through the move (I’m not sure they did) so they can have friends to stay next week. We’ve an area to the side of the house I want to set up as an area for the teens so they can have friends over. I will be trawling Facebook marketplace for inexpensive or free items because after moving I have little budget left for fun things.
How’s the back end of your week shaping up? Are you the family taxi?
How do you make sure you have time for what you want to do with teens who need driving to various places?
