What is sustainable styling?

For me, sustainable styling means buying carefully and thoughtfully; investing in clothing that you love (including second hand); that is an expression/extension of who you are - that suits you, makes you feel good, makes you smile - and that will last and last.

Pieces that are well designed in natural fibres - the antithesis of fast throwaway fashion that brings up anxiety in me when I think about the piles of clothes worn once then sent to landfill - clothes that have taken so many resources to produce…

So here’s a call to support sustainable design - particularly home grown designers, I salute you!
