Last year I was diagnosed with social anxiety and I had a course of CBT to help me.
I done a self referral through the NHS and I have to say, they were bloody brilliant and quick. For a free service I highly recommend it.
Of course I'm not cured by any means but I have ways which can help me and recognise why I'm thinking the things I am.
I don't think I'll ever truly be comfortable in certain situations but I'm certainly working on it. I turned 40 in October and I'm determined not to waste any more time.
You are who you are and I am who I am, we can't change that and why should we?
We are all odd, strange, bit weird, have our little ways so f**k it! It doesn't matter!!
