I have been a busy girly this week getting ready for Between the Bridges Summer Craft Market just under the London Eye on Sunday 12 til 5pm, how exciting!

The sun is out, the birds are singing and I'm having a wonderful time at craft fair.

Hello lovely people. My socials have been quiet and here's why.

I will be making more lovely earrings from beer cans and bringing them to stockists and markets later this year but I've needed to shift priorities and look after me and my family. This winter I've been finishing crochet projects including this jumper which only took 3 years to finish.

I've discovered sourdough! Omg I love it and it's led me to make other ferments like natural soda from a ginger bug starter and kombucha! When I get a new kitchen later this year I've requested at least a shelf just for my ferments. (Imagine the weird looks from the kitchen designer)

I have also attempted making kokodama, plant root balls wrapped in moss to create beautiful displays. I mainly made a lot of mess but had a lot of fun doing it.

Where can you find BEERings?

This time of year is very quiet for events but fear not, my earrings made from upcycled craft beer cans can be found in one wonderful stockists!

These shops are gorgeous settings with caring, passionate owners who champion myself and other wonderful small businesses, so, I highly recommend enjoying the visit to them and supporting small businesses!

Each pair of my BEERings are unique and one of a kind so if you don't find the perfect pair, maybe they're waiting for you on one of these shops!

is in Wivenhoe, a Preloved clothing boutique that is passionate about quality and sustainability so my BEERings fit well and maybe you could find a match a with a gorgeous new outfit.

Found in my own home village of Copford, this fabulous shop is a wonderful space selling a range of gifts, homewares, Preloved clothes along with delicious coffee and cake! They also host a variety of crafty workshops

Found on the island of Mersea, a gorgeous gift shop with many nautical themed pieces due to its location but also fab jewellery and ceramics too.


Pop to Tiptree for this fabulous refill shop to top up on kitchen or cleaning supplies while avoiding plastic waste so a perfect fit for my sustainable earrings.


Within the shop of the art centre you'll find books, gifts, games and more in the heart of Colchester.


The Colchester theatre showcases many local makers in their box office so do make sure to pop by.


Swing by this Maldon taproom where you can enjoy drinking their beer and decorating your ears with their beer can artwork.

Hello 2026!

I'm Carys and I make jewellery from upcycled craft beer cans! "What?! No way!" "What made you think to do that", "I didn't know you could get such cool beer cans" is said a lot when I meet new people and tell them what I do. When I started drinking craft beer I realised the can designs were AMAZING! Little pieces of art! So, I got creative and decided to make earrings from them.

Nearly 7 years later and I'm still at it despite not even drinking alcohol anymore! Don't worry, plenty of people donate their cans so I'm not short of materials!

I love what I do, I love people's reactions and I love that there'll always be more designs! My family and I regularly visit tap rooms around the country, our 5 year old has visited over 50 and she was born in lockdown!

I sell online (link in my bio) but I especially love craft fairs as the conversations that are started are so much fun.

Some other information about me...I play for my local cricket team, I love crochet, I just got a sewing machine to extend my crafty skills, I'm a mum of two and I despise washing up.
