When I was dreaming of opening a bridal shop in 1998 I took my business plan to various banks. Unfortunately they said that bridal was high risk and none of them would give me a loan. My lovely daddy had faith in me and loaned me £10k to buy my first collections. My dad was always interested in the business and even at the end of his life would ask how the shop was doing and ask about our brides. My dad left us for the next realm yesterday. I think he will be up there now reunited with his dogs, walking through a magical forest and feeling proud of a life well lived. Emma Hartley Bridalwear would not have existed without my dad's faith in me. Thank you daddy I hope I can carry on making you proud Xx ✨🤍✨
