I want to begin by saying thank you to all my loyal customers over the last five years. It’s been a pleasure working for you all.
However, after a lot of deliberation, I have decided to close the business. Arthritis in my hands is making it ever more difficult to continue in my line of work.

Darn Good Sewing will soon be moving to new premises at 52 Front Street, Leadgate, Co. Durham.

Due to demand for larger items such as bespoke curtains, blinds, soft furnishings, seating, etc., it has become necessary to find larger premises.
Watch this space for details of our moving date.

Merry Christmas to all my lovely customers. It has been a brilliant year and I wish you all the best for the coming year.

Darn Good Sewing is enjoying some Christmas festivities this afternoon so we will be closing at 12 noon today. Normal hours will resume tomorrow and we’ll be open between for a few hours between Christmas and the New Year if anyone has any urgent sewing needs.
