I refurbish old style furniture using different colours and methods to recreate vintage pieces..I take my influence from the popular 'shabby chic' style

In February 2013 I became a mummy and found myself spending a lot of time at home. In search of something to occupy my mind I started looking into recreating shabby chic/french country style furniture using old pieces and giving them a new lease of life. The beauty of old style furniture or just old furniture in general is it was built to last, so I always try and seek out the best pieces to use.

I can (usually) source any piece required or can give a make-over to something that you already own that is in need of a bit of TLC. I take my influence from the vintage french country feel and sometimes add some 'shabby chic-ness' to give it a more vintage feel. Please get in touch if you have any questions or are interested in an item/interested in refurbishing an old piece of furniture as I would love to help! I sometimes refurbish pieces without having someone lined up to buy so look out to grab yourself a bargain :)

Out with the old and in with the new! It's been a tough year but Vintage Lane returns starting with refreshing my own pieces to go with my new bedroom! Such a better way to refresh a room (and cheaper than buying new), and you can pick whatever colour you like, welcome to 2017, it's going to be a good one I can feel it 😬
