Good morning,

The sunshine is shining and I'm still sipping my coffee in the garden... Glorious 🌞

Today I'm sharing two beautiful elegant prom dresses;

The red dress has been shortened (14 meters of hem hemmed 🙃) and the belt made from the hem off cuts to add to the waist, just a small detail that makes a big difference ❤️

The navy dress has also been shortened and the bust and waist taken in, and the straps shortened with the off shoulder neckline also taken in 💙

I'm having to work late to catch up... Just a week of prom to go, but I'm loving the dresses 🥳

Good morning,

I'm so glad it's Friday, and excited to get the two prom dresses I have finished out to my customers today 🎉

Then I will be going on a weekend retreat to rest my hands and neck (definitely getting arthritis 😅) with my yoga family to Wales 😍

So here's some work done over the week....

🪡 A pink prom dress, all fixed up and straps shortened, lovely and petite
🪡 A summer dress going to Greece for a wedding. It has been taken in under the arms and bust. Love the fabric.
🪡 A little animal print dress, it has had the zip taken out and the side taken in.
🪡 Love this skirt it has been shortened.
🪡 Bright red jumpsuit has been shortened and the neckline restitched as the top stitching had come away.
🪡 Finally the jacket sleeves have been shortened.

There were a few trousers shortened and some other work I can't even remember and have no pictures because I'm working rocket speed at the moment to meet all the prom deadline...😅

Good morning,

This gorgeous designer silk dress is perfectly fitted now, and really Edith (the mannequin) does not show it off enough!

Loved altering this dress, it was too tight on the bust, too long and the bust didn't have a shape, the back was too confusing!

I have added a panel to the back to make the bust area bigger, the panel was cut from the back cowl style.neckline. The straps were shortened and some extra shaping pads added. Then it was shortened with an overlocked hem... Ta da, ready for my absolutely gorgeous customer for her very posh party 😁🥳💕

Good morning,

Last post from the Gala work, not even sure how I made time for this when I have so much to do... But here they are 😁

The gala queen's dress was transformed, she is wearing her auntie's bridesmaid dress 😍
It had new straps made and added to replace the spaghetti straps and look at that gorgeous organza reverse tie cape. Love it and makes the outfit perfect!

One of the gala princesses had her dress altered by adding a new working zip and taken in at the sides to fit perfectly 😍

Beautiful girls and it really was a gorgeous day for them all 💖

Good morning,

I hope your weekend was enjoyable. I got to see my little girl in her princess dress that we designed and made together 😍

She picked the fabric and the style, we looked through the patterns from Great Grandmas box and found this gorgeous 80s style dress, my amazing girl didn't want anything too big or puffy so her design really worked well!

I made the dress in a day 😮 she kept changing her mind about things and we actually scraped the first design and started this one last minute 😅 you know how good my magic wand is, I was doing some last stitches five minutes before 😉

She was gorgeous and elegant in her princess dress. Memories that we will never forget ❤️

Good morning,

Yey it's Friday 🥳

It's the village Gala day tomorrow, and I have been altering some of the gorgeous girls' dresses for it, and making one from scratch, show you more after the event 😍

For now here's the next prom dress, how gorgeous and shiny, it has a golden glow to it in the sunshine! It has been shortened and hemmed with a "super stretch needle" I think I needed a "super super super stretch needle" 😅

Enjoy the Friday feeling 💕
