Good morning,

What a beautiful and sunny morning to wake up to, just lovely 🌞

It's lovely to also show you this finished and beautiful prom dress, the hem has been shortened, and the straps shortened to fit perfectly 😍

Loved working on it, and seeing my gorgeous customer with her big smile was worth all that unpicking 💕

Good morning,

Yesterday I had a different kinda work to do. I loved working with the fantastic team at Cotton Traders altering 10 pairs of trousers for a gorgeous and very tall model. I took out the hems and made the leg length longer for the photoshoot!

It was very cool to be in a working environment with other creative people. Thanks to my lovely pantomime sister Becki for recommending me! 😍

What a dress, and what a hem to shorten... Very long process but so worth it! 💙

Good Monday morning,

I hope we are all full of weekend rest and relaxation and ready for the week ahead ☺️

Here is the awaited wedding dress, I love this dress because it's so different and unique. It looks vintage, the mocha colour is gorgeous with the pearls and beads!

🧵It had its zip taken out as it wasn't a good fit
🧵A corset back was made for the dress including the tie
🧵The corset back and panel were added to the back of the dress
🧵Then it was shortened on all the layers.

I took it apart to shorten the front ruffled layers at the waist, but while I was doing that I discovered an easier way, yes I pulled those plastic threads (see picture) and the layers raised up, how brilliant 🥳

Here it is all ready, fits perfectly and looks beautiful 😍

I'm feeling much better today. Can't wait to deliver the wedding dress this morning and see my lovely customer's face when it fits her perfectly 😍

Another two perfectly fitting bridesmaid dresses ready to go today, the dark green has been shortened and the other has been shrunk, by taking it in at the bust, waist and hips and shortened in length, finally the straps were added 🥳

This cold is awful, can someone make it go away please 🤧😷😅

Lots of bits of work went out last week. Some Dickies work overalls, Chino jeans, fluffy pink jacket all shortened, and these suit jackets which have been taken in and slimmed down and the trousers shortened... I've had to work very fast!

The wedding dress is complete and Final fitting is on Friday. So today I will be working on the prom dresses which I can't wait to show you 🎉

I'm full of cold today, definitely the wrong time to get poorly 🤧

Must go on though as I have more dresses on my work rail than in my own wardrobe now 😅

Here's one of the gorgeous dresses, this is a bridesmaid dress and I love how it's so much like a wedding dress, the bridesmaids must feel so honoured to be matching the bride. Just love that idea 💕

It has been shortened on the back, the shoulders have been lifted by two inches, I didn't take the whole sleeve off, but I did take it apart from the shoulder seams and worked that way! So here it is, ta da 😁

Good afternoon,

I'm working on a beautiful wedding dress today, it's a lot of work but it's almost done!

Here's another wedding dress that I altered last month, which has a lot of fittings and alterations including the brilliant straps 😍

Good morning,

Just to quickly show you this lovely silky dress before I go to yoga.... Ommmmm🧘‍♀️

It had the puffiest sleeves ever, for a petite dress there was more fabric on the sleeves then the rest 😅 so I removed about 6 inches of fabric, by taking the sleeves off and making them smaller then reattaching them and adding the elastic back on. Ta da! All ready for the wedding at the weekend 😍
