π 𧣠Exploring Sensory Scarves π§£π
Each one of our sensory boxes comes with a beautiful and colourful chiffon scarf. There are lots of different ways to use these scarves but here are just a few ideas to help get you started...
π§Ί I have used just a simple basket to hold some 'treasures' in. These treasures can be some of their toys or households items (so long as they're safe and an adult is supervising). You could try colour theming a basket to your sensory scarf or just use it as soft sensory base for other items.
π Peek-a-boo is a great activity for all ages and these scarves are brilliant for it! Peek-a-boo develops their gross motor skills, strengthens their visual tracking, encourages social development and tickles their sense of humour!
π©βπ³ For your little budding chef try stuffing the scarf into a whisk for your Little Wonderer to pull out and try pushing back in. This will help to develop their fine motor skills- skills needed for writing, eating and buttoning clothes.
πΊ We enjoyed having fun with scarves whilst watching this brilliant episode of The Baby Club on Cbeebies this morning. Catch it on iPlayer using the link below!

βAlways supervise sensory play and use caution when using items that pose a choking or suffocation hazard. Safety always comes first. β
