L.A.Designs These are all of my own designs and garments that I have made since 2009. Made to order pieces are available upon request.

Clothing, Upholstery, Cross Stitch, Paintings & Sketches. I studied Fashion Technology with Design and Manufacturing at Cardonald College for 3 years (2010-2013) to achieve an A grade and a HND Certificate. I then moved on to study the same course at Heriot Watt University for 2 years (2013-2015) and achieved a 2:2 grade Bachelors Degree with Honours. Since April 2016 I have been working for Simon

Jersey as a Garment Technologist and when not in work I am working on designing and making garments for family and friends. I love the practical side of this industry and I always use my own designs for everything that I make.

Had a lovely client in need of some last minute alterations for a wedding she was attending last week and she brought me these 2 lovely dresses.

The rust coloured one needed 18cm taken off the hem and an inch off of each side seam of the bodice.
The pinky champagne coloured one needed a little experimentation work on the off the shoulder area to keep it from falling too far, I ended up adding in a few pleats by hand so the stitching would be hidden and it worked a treat.

A request was made by my grandparents for some dining chair covers a few weeks ago.

I was given the measurements and asked to use neutral colours.

I am glad that they liked them and that they matched in well with the dining room in their house 😊

I wasn't able to train properly for about 3 weeks before the big day, but I still managed to cross the finish line 10th out of 1700 people.

I've been keeping myself occupied on my rare days off from work during this lockdown. 2 out of 3 bedrooms are now decorated and I've even built and installed an over the bed storage system too😃

A day off from work, turned into a day of knitting with some fluffy moral support.

One and a half scarves done, will be finishing the second off today.

For these scarves I am using Glow Reflective wool. It's different and I like it 😃
