EXTREME HEATWAVE
Hi all, looks like we're in for a scorcher of a week. Hence worth reminding all customers that if your dress fitting isn't a priority (eg: your event isnt happening within the next few weeks), then best to reschedule your appointment until after the extreme heatwave. This is because as well as feeling clammy or sweaty (which causes fabric to stick to skin), the body can swell in heat resulting in problems with accurately fitting items.
Obviously for those with impending event dates postponing may not be an option. Therefore if you are having a dress fitting it's important to stay hydrated and cool as much as you can. Should you want to, you may bring a towel with you to your appointment so you can towel dry your skin when changing before putting your bridal/prom gown on to help reduce perspiration going onto your gown or causing fabric to stick to skin.
