This season, our new Mowden Park away kit carries a meaning that goes far beyond rugby.

The colours have been inspired by our chosen charity for the season, Dementia UK , recognising the incredible work they do to support people living with dementia and the families who live through every part of that journey alongside them.

Dementia affects so many families, including some very close to home within our own Mowden Park squad. We know that behind every diagnosis, there are partners, children, parents, relatives and friends whose lives are changed too.

That’s why this season, we want to do more than simply wear the colours.

Throughout the year, Mowden Park will be fundraising in support of Dementia UK.

We’re incredibly proud to pull on this shirt and even prouder of what it represents.

For those living with dementia.
For the families beside them.
For those within our own Mowden Park family.

We’ll be sharing details of our fundraising throughout the season and hope our supporters, players, families and friends will get behind us.

Another Stockton team doing well in the Tournament at the weekend 👏

Well done to all the boys today!

A brilliant team effort from start to finish, showing the grit, determination and desire that brought us two promotions and a cup win last season.

To go unbeaten throughout the tournament and concede just 2 goals was a fantastic achievement. Every player played their part. 👏

Special mentions to Jenson, who produced one of his best and most consistent performances in a long time, grabbing a goal and an important assist.

And Jack, our coaches’ Player of the Day. Outstanding at the back, worked tirelessly for the team and even had a bloody nose to show for it! 💪

Brilliant effort, boys. A great way to prepare for another big season! 🔥⚽

Tournament News

Stockton Town Tournament 🏆

The Lions played in the Stockton Town tournament today host by Game of Tournaments.

The group stages meant we met last seasons division rivals Bedale in the first of the group game. Bedale took the win but the boys quickly turned it around to win the following two group games and topping the their group league table.
Topping the group putting the Lions through to the semi-final of the gold cup. A 1-0 win against Auckland got the boys into the final.
Unfortunately, Browney FC took the win in the final. The boys can proud of the fantastic effort put into today’s tournament, brilliant football as always!
