Howdydoody friends x It's the last day of 2025 and I'm my way to work. I'm all wrapped up as it's freezing (i dont think the driver has turned the heating on. This week I've had 3 new students to teach Joanne, thomas and Roux. They had all got sewing machines fir Christmas and were all beginners. They all did really well and went away with notes, photos and videos of their lesson to remind them of what they learnt. They all made a beautiful scatter cushion to take home. If you have a person in your life that would benefit from a 1to1 sewing lessons please send them my way and help support small local businesses.

Howdydoody friends x tomorrow afternoon I will be at the Darlington Pop Up Shop and I'm gonna take the last of my bookmark beads. These are fantabulous and sew easy to make that they are a great gift a little one could make for that special someone. I've got enough left to make 10. They are only £5 each and come with a little gift bag. Theydo look very expensive sew if you pop down after 1 there might be some left. Smampy's Corner

machine fir Christmas wouldn't it make sense to give a sewing lesson too? I teach 1to1 sewing classes for absolute beginners and ill show them what tge machine can do and give them the skills needed to create their own projects

Howdydoody friends x I thought I would introduce Lees Bakes , 😋he is one of the sellers in Darlington Pop Up Shop 4 Skinnergate Darlington. He makes lots of delightful pies, cakes and more🥯🍰🥧. Today he has made Christmas cupcakes. I'm currently eating a scrumdiddlyumptious chocolate penguin cupcake. Hes here Tuesdsy , Thursday and Friday. Here it is, my craft stall in Darlington Pop Up Shop located in Skinnergate near Grange Rd. My friend joined me to help build my shelves and help present my stall as it looked like a jumble sale when I did it myself. I've got all sorts on my stall. Why not pop down to Darlington Town center and pop in to check it out. While you're there you may see something made by others.

Howdydoody friends x today I thought I would share a couple of details about my masectomy pillows and open heart surgery pillows.

Howdydoody friends, I just thought ide share my latest sewing lesson with Lydia and her mum Susan. Lydia had bought a Christmas fat quarter bundle sew i suggested making a patchwork tote bag. The bag needed 80 10cm x 10cm squares sew Lydia started to measure and cut while Susan used 80 from the recycled box. They carefully sewed the squares together in the pattern of choice. Then cut a lining and 2 handles. They finished sewing them together and these are the finished projects. Absolutely stunning and perfect patchwork too.
