Sorry to have to say this but since the accident that happened last November, it is with heavy heart that I am going to close Stephanie’s stitches, the accident has made it difficult for me to sit for long periods of time at my machine but I’d like to thank you for your custom over the years, thank you once again

Hi everyone, it’s Helen here, Steph’s daughter. Mum is still recovering from her hip replacement, but it’s taking a little longer than she had hoped. Because of this, she has taken the difficult decision to stop sewing altogether for her lovely customers. This may change in the future, and if it does we will happily notify you on here.

Mum (Steph) would love to thank you all for your continued custom over the years and has enjoyed the work and challenges that you have all given her. But for now, she would like to take time for herself and recover properly.

Hi, it’s Helen here again! We’re not at the point of a marathon or a park run, but today was mums first walk outside with her sticks.

She’s doing so well, but still a long way to go. Staples will be removed on Friday, then she will feel a little more normal. Each day is a new day where she can do something different or better than the day before.

Hi everyone, it’s Helen here, Steph’s daughter. I’m looking after her page for her while she’s recovering. Her op went well, though she’s not doing the hippy hippy shake just yet 🤣. Any messages that come through will be replied to by me, and I am by no means a seamstress, so bear with. I’ll give you all updates on how she is doing over the coming weeks.

Below is a picture of her, the day after her op, taken on Saturday (which she will more than likely shout at me for 🙈🤣).
When she finally returns to you all, you can give her a huge HIP HIP hooray! But until then, I’m sorry to say that you’ll have to put up with me.
Thanks to everyone who has wished her well and given offers of help, it’s so lovely of you all.

Hi to all my customers, I’m letting you all know I’m going to be closed for around three weeks, I’m having Hip Replacement surgery on Friday, so will be out of action hope you understand, thank you for your continued support, will keep you updated as to how things are
