Tony got in contact and wanted me to create a memory bear for each member of the family that Mary had left behind. 1 to remember a wife, 3 to remember a mum and 8 to remember a nanna.

Mary Bear was to feature Mary's birth and death year on her paws, dream a little dream of me on her left arm and who she was to each family member on her right arm, in this case My Mary for her husband Tony.

This version of Mary Bear was made using Mary's favourite dressing gown and nightie. I kept the original lace detail from the neckline of the nightie to create Mary Bear's body.

It was an honour to create these bears for a grieving family and it was a special moment to hand deliver these to Tony and see his reaction.

This is what will pop through your letterbox when you place an order with me.

All my products are wrapped in a paper label with key features of the products and how to look after them. They're then placed in a colourful paper bag with one of my ban the beige business cards, which then goes in an envelope or box.

You may already do these 3 things, but here's the best way to wash your LJS tubie accessories to keep them in tip-top condition:

💧Place them in a mesh bag to avoid damage

Your accessories can be easily damaged in the wash, so placing them in a mesh bag will help protect them.

💧You can machine wash them up to 60 degrees

If you want to save money and the environment, you can wash your accessories at a lower temperature of 30 or 40 degrees. It all depends on your needs.

💧One thing to remember: Do not add fabric softener!

Adding fabric softener can reduce the absorbency of the bamboo fleece/waterproof backing. This means they won't be as absorbent, so it's best to avoid using them.
