I create all of my items at home in Derbyshire and my business is named after my beautiful rescue cat Lucky. In 2017 I bravely left my full time job with the NHS as I wanted to do something more creative. I’m now self employed full time and very proud to be running my own small crochet business. I’ve always been fascinated by colour and love to play around with different shades and tones to create

the perfect colour palette for my baby blankets. I regularly list new blankets in my Etsy and Folksy shops but I am also happy to create something bespoke in your own choice of colours. Marianne xx

The start of my next baby blanket 🩷🩷🩷

I didn’t get chance to share this during so I thought I’d show you now.

A big thank you to for putting the challenge together and to .laser for my magnet. I’ve had a difficult few months and taking part in the challenge actually felt quite theraputic as it made me think more deeply about my little handmade business. My favourite prompt without doubt was ‘revisit’ as it was really good to look back at previous years and see how far I’ve come 🧶

My magnet is right on the front of my fridge so I can look at it every time I go to make a cuppa. It will be a good reminder to be creative even if on some days it’s only for a short time, like making a granny square, it all adds up!
