Some photos have a way of completely brightening your day! 🌈

This was definitely one of them 💕

A friend sent me a photo of his little girl wearing a denim jacket he bought for her at one of our craft markets. He also shared a photo from the day he bought it, with his daughter sitting on Santa's lap as a tiny baby. 👶 A long while later, she's finally grown into the jacket, and rocking it! 😍

Photos like these that pop up out of the woodwork brighten my days more than you can know, and it makes me so happy to think that Hippie Shades plays a part in brightening yours too. ☀️

Back from theeee longest hibernation Hippie Shades has had in 10 years!! 😅

A Christmas-to-February break isn’t unusual, but honestly... Work, life, and everything else just meant I had to focus elsewhere for a while this winter and spring ❤️ I can fill you in on a bit of what I've been up to and the new exciting moves we've made recently.....

BUT!!!...for now what's important is......✨🎉

Some Sunday news and updates from me...

Badish news first ..... 📰

Hippie Shades has now withdrawn from the few Christmas markets we had signed up to and will have no Christmas market appearances this year 😢

Basically, with the commitments to my full time work and other things over Christmas they just aren't feasible for me anymore.

But.....

The greeeat news is... 📰😃

I have, at last, been able to put some time into the long awaited website 😁🙌 and it's nearly finished !

It's gona be launched this week so keep an eye out for that! 😁 You will be able to order gifts on there in time for Christmas 🎊

We got our an email invite to our first Christmas Market the other day....organised, I know right?!

But what was lovely was...... 😊

Part of the invite read... 'I had to reserve you a table by order of the staff here as they loved your products last year.' 💞🙏

Well thank you to 'the staff'....You legends! ... 😍🙏

Things like this remind me that people love Hippie Shades and that bringing colour to people's lives is important!! 🌈
.. especially with so much darkness and despair in the world these days we'll continue the mission of brightening our wee corner of it where we can - one crazy t or funky pair of socks at a time 😁

I hope you are all well!!! 🤙

It's been a while but...what a summer it has been!! 💞 😍

So many class memories made.... 💘 from concerts, festivals and climbing meets to family trips and gatherings, to boat and road trips, markets and workshops. It's literally been a blurrrr of banter and craic since Stendhal! 😁❤️

So much change and mayhem as always with me, doing 5000 things and breaking all the phones while at it.... 😂🤣 good times... 😂

Anyways.... Despite socials silence.... Customs are still being done and going out in the background as always. This one went off to a regular over in Antrim last week🤙

And.... We got to recreate some of our favourite ever custom items too! 😁 they went to their legend of an owner last night so she can represent in Canada on her hols 🇨🇦😁 will share these later 😉

Anyone with whacky custom or upcycle ideas, hit me up 😉
