Beautiful blooms, and Vintage Vibe repurposed vintage crochet doily hoops available at Alchemist Gallery, Dingwall 😊

It makes my heart sing to work with the first flowers for 2023!

Seasonal handtied bunches, freshly made up, are now available again. One bunch features two winter blooms: purple hellebores and fresh rosemary.

Modern flower folklore associates the hellebore with tranquillity, and rosemary signifys the reign of the lady of the house – hopefully this bouquet augurs a peaceful rule at home! Rosemary is also connected to remembrance – as are the hyacinths, which are ready to burst into bloom, and scent. A sure sign of spring to come.

Another delivery to Alchemist Gallery, Dingwall this week… a selection of Christmas stockings, fully lined in vintage and repurposed fabrics, including Laura Ashley and Liberty. They’ve now joined a beautiful selection of other Christmas decorations and hand-crafted gifts at the gallery, all made to last and be treasured for years to come.

Snowflake Doily production in full swing as the snow falls outside… these are heading for Alchemist Gallery, Dingwall and will be available to buy there from Monday. I Iove the process of hunting for the vintage crochet doilies and wooden hoops throughout the year which I stash away ready for a day just like today when I can start selecting my favourites 😍
