How lovely of Mike Sibley to give me permission to use his artwork as part of mine. I have left his signature visible, framed even, and added my own. I felt it was only right to ask him for permission seen as he is still drawing and selling his art. Mike was flattered to be asked, remarking that many wouldn't have! I am still undecided wether to show him or not... I am proud of this piece and though I do joke about my talent being "sticking stuff to other stuff" you do have to have an eye for it, which I think I do 💅🏼 I will eventually be selling this piece, any advice on setting up a Shopify is welcome! Or feel free to DM me if you are interested in purchasing Princess 💖

This mirror would have been destined for the tip if anyone else had got it! I did get a refund from ASDA as well so it was free! I had ordered it online and it was packaged terribly, I wouldn't be surprised if loads were broken in transit. Rather than throw it away I saw it's potential and I love it even more now! 💖

I absolutely love how this turned out! Now my canvas art looks way more fun and glamorous with the extra leaves, flowers and sparkle! It's given the piece texture and dimension to an otherwise flat painting. I even like the texture that the cardboard gives under the paint, it adds interest, while also using something that would have otherwise just gone into the recycling. Would you do this with your canvases?
