Made out of the recipient’s primary school uniform, with a matching vest jacket with logo sewn onto the back - not pictured for privacy reasons! 💗

Lovely little bear made to commemorate the move up from Primary to “Big School”! 🧸
This green mammal is made out of an old school jumper & shirt, with added embroidery on the body to commemorate the time spent there, an added initial on the paw and the school logo attached onto the back of the bear’s vest - biker jacket style!

🪡 first bag pattern: Motif Studio @ etsy
🪡 second bag pattern: Nette @ http://nettevivante.blogspot.com/ (with the alteration of the additional inside pockets!)
🪡 hat - uses the local rugby team’s colours
🪡 Conder tablecloth - uses the individual’s handwriting for each corresponding name

After contemplation, a change in pattern & a few alterations, we found a better fit for a memory bear!
🪡this can be made using half a M men’s shirt
🪡this showcases the possibility of embroidery added (as well as a very cute detached vest!)
🪡the limbs are easily manipulated
🪡last image shows the size comparison between how it started (the lovely .and.bloom pattern) and how it continues!

• Although he’s a lovely memory bear, he does turn out to be very tall & uses 2-3 shirts

Hi all, very excited to take the first step in offering my sewing services out to a wider audience! 🐻

I provide a sewing service whereby once we’ve corresponded:
- you send me your chosen clothing/fabric;
- we then correspond on any specific meaningful items provided (the most meaningful/sentimental will then get showcased on the bear more prominently);
- you choose whether you’d like to add a personal message/initials/name embroidered on to the bear (this does come with an additional fee);
- I craft the memory bear to your specifications;
- I either post* it out to you or hand deliver* your handcrafted memory bear to you

Over the next few days/weeks, I shall provide examples on here and on Facebook, so please tag along, like and follow to share the journey of Upcycled Love.
