A date for the diary!
I will be joining lots of local South down makers at our first 'A Very Mourne Christmas' Artist's Market.
I'm so excited to be a part of it, so if you like to buy handmade Christmas pressies of exceptional quality then please pop by!
A few months ago, Down Arts Centre and Down Community Arts undertook the task of mapping the creative talent across Newry, Mourne & Down. Let me tell you, it's no mean feat because we have a TONNE of talented people living/working and from, this part of the country. How do I know?
Well, I have gathered some of them together and asked them to be a part of an ARTISTS' MARKET, which I have affectionately named, 'A Very Mourne Christmas'.
On the evening of Friday 17th November from 4 - 8pm, we will be taking over Down Arts Centre in Downpatrick, showcasing the wealth of talent here in South Down, and letting you take some amazing Art, Makes, Wares and Wonders home with you!
Inspired by the amazing markets that Vault Artist Studios have held over the past few years, I wanted to bring some of the best artists and makers in the county together and really blow people's socks off.
This will be the perfect time to pick up that gift for yourself and anyone else you may need to buy for this Christmas. There will be music, there will be a hot chocolate bar run by the fabulous Refuge Chocolate and there will most surely be fairy lights!
