These received our “half sole and stacked leather heel” package with new welts, red stitching and a nice little layer of red in the heel stack to tie the stitch colour and sole system together 😊

These were actually done for a YouTube video at the same time as a pair of 875’s to show the differences in sole systems that can be fitted to welted footwear. So if that topic might interest you then look us up on YouTube 😁

So these are the made in England Grenson Fred and to honour that label we opted to use English leather from for the internals, double midsole and heel stack then used the half soles and heel tops

So these have english materials English workmanship and hopefully we have done them proud!

I have been looking forward to posting these!!

875’s with the mini lug sole, stacked leather heels and a Dainite heel top.

After chatting with the customer we settled on this 👌

No heavy tread so the boots remain formal enough to be smart casual, heels are serviceable so can be swapped out regularly with no detrimental effect to the footbeds and rather than using the mini lug heel which isn’t particularly grippy on loose ground and is not as comfortable as leather….they had the Dainite logger heel top. Enough tread to give traction on loose ground but not so aggressive it looks odd dressed up for dinner 😁

Obviously all that exposed undyed natural leather is stunning but these boots achieve both

875 boots re-crafted with the “full length rubber sole and separate heel” package from our website with a slight twist!! This customer often encounters loose ground so to gain a little extra grip at the heel Dainite logger tops were fitted. They are not so aggressive that it ruins the overall slightly formal aesthetic but they will provide considerably more grip that the standard minilug heel… an added bonus is you can change this heel top without putting a bunch of holes into the footbed!

So these have had:
New chocolate brown welts
Steel shanks
Cork filler
Leather midsoles
Minilug sole
Stacked leather heel
logger heel top

Complimentary deep clean, condition and a set of laces included in every full resole!

re-craft with new welts, cork filler, leather midsoles, white Christy wedge and red Friedrich sole.

875 re-craft using the “stacked soles” package from our website! These boots were stripped back to a bare upper and then rebuilt with
New welts
Fresh cork
leather midsole
beige Cristy wedge in beige
Jankaut 1220 secondary sole in honey.

This package gives you the comfort of the wedge sole with the added durability and grip of a conventional rubber sole!

Another benefit to this is you can change just the secondary sole if you manage to wear it down quickly 👌
