To mitigate the five month road closure of the bottom road into Glencaple, we are happy to deliver items free of charge in Dumfries, or post items out well wrapped at post cost. A reminder that the the top road into the village and all local businesses would welcome your business as usual.

Today at Vintage on the Nith: Scandinavian animals.

A reminder that the 'low road' to Glencaple is closed on Tuesday until 31st January next year!!!! We hope this will not deter you from visiting the shop. The village can still be accessed on the 'high road' up past the old hospital and college. In a masterpiece of understatement: as the sign says: 'Sorry for any inconvenience'

From Monday 1st September the lower road to Glencaple will be closed for 5 months for works being carried out by SP Energy. The village can still be accessed by the road up by the old hospital and college. We hope you will continue to come, visit us and support us throughout this time. We appreciate you enabling us to do the thing we love.
