💙 A huge thank you from the UK Police Unity Tour – Scottish Chapter 💙

Behind every mile ridden on the Police Unity Tour is a huge amount of unseen work, generosity and support.

This year, riders paid a £195 registration fee, which covers three nights’ accommodation, food, and the logistics required to provide safe passage for our riders from Gretna to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

The true cost of delivering the Tour far exceeds this contribution, but we keep costs as low as possible because our riders already give so much. Many use annual leave, swap shifts, or give up rest days to take part. They train, fundraise and ride hundreds of miles in memory of fallen colleagues and loved ones.

Our aim is simple: to let riders focus on why they are riding and who they are riding for.

That is only possible thanks to the incredible organisations and individuals who support the Scottish Chapter. Some provide financial help, while others donate goods, and services. Every contribution, large or small, helps make the Tour possible and helps us keep the cost to our riders as low as we can.

Without this support, we simply could not deliver the Tour in the way we do.

From the Scottish Chapter Planning Team, and on behalf of every rider and support team member:

Thank you. 💙

Your generosity helps us get our riders to Staffordshire. But more importantly, it helps them make that journey for the colleagues and loved ones whose memories they carry with them every mile of the way.

We ride for those who died. 💙

Police Unity Tour

Once again we are happy to provide financial assistance to the Cyclists of the Scottish chapter of the UK Police Unity Tour.

This team of fantastic people are cycling from Gretna to Stafford to attend a service of remembrance for police officers who’ve died in the line of duty.

The group are raising funds for the Care Of Police survivors charity who provide peer support to the families of fallen officers.

If you’d like to donate, please do so at:

Off to represent Scotland… in the only way we know how! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A few of the team have gone all out with the Saltire face paint and the See You Jimmy hats as our 37 Scottish cyclists set off to join the UK Police Unity Tour.

Don’t worry, England, Wales and Ireland… we’ll tone it down a bit before we meet you. Maybe. 😉

Behind the banter is a cause that means a great deal to us all. Together, we’ll be riding alongside our colleagues from across the UK to raise funds for the Care of Police Survivors (COPS) charity and to attend the Service of Remembrance, honouring police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

If you’d like to support the team, please consider sponsoring one of our riders. Every donation helps support the incredible work of Care of Police Survivors.

Thank you for your support, and wish all of the riders a safe journey. 💙🚴
