Something we knew we had to do was get rid of horrible plastic packaging and use something more sustainable! Our products are shipped in paper-based, rip, and splash-proof mailer bags! The packaging can be recycled, reused, or changed into something creative thanks to the funky design!

Here’s a little look at our Belhaven Bay design! For anyone that’s been to Belhaven Bay you’ll know how iconic the bridge to nowhere is and how imposing the Bass Rock looks on the horizon! Who are we? What is Scotia Surf Co. and what are we trying to achieve?? Well some of that is answered in this post!
We (Elliot and Robert) grew up surfing the mighty St Andrew’s East Sands! This led to our passion for surfing but also made us realize as surfers how connected we are to the ocean and how dependent we are on its health! We decided that we wanted to take action and in order to do this we came up with the idea behind Scotia Surf Co. We wanted to create something that allows people to rep their local spot as well as being eco-friendly. All our designs are inspired by the local area as well as being part of a sustainable, circular supply chain through teemill (more on that later). Keep an eye out for some more posts about how sustainable and eco-friendly our clothes are and for when the store is coming (so soon)!!
