Right, three weeks of supplier headaches later β€” Sweatshirt Jersey and Softshell are back. πŸŽ‰

Both are in the mill now and ready to print. I'm not going to pretend the sourcing wasn't a nightmare, but I really wanted these two back and I wasn't giving up on them.

Worth the wait though. Our Sweatshirt Jersey is a poly-cotton mix β€” soft, warm, the kind of fabric that actually feels really nice quality.
The Softshell is showerproof, breathable and built to last. Both sourced from Europe, from the same suppliers that kit out some pretty big names.

If you've made with either of these before, drop your makes in the comments β€” I'd love to see what people have sewn with them. 🧡

PS. Both available on wholesale from 5m per design β€” drop Jess a line at [email protected]

Charlotte sent this through in response to the survey about panels and I genuinely stopped what I was doing. 🀩

That's our Colourful Highland Cow panel β€” in the centre of a full quilt. Strips of rainbow fabric all the way out to navy borders, perfectly pieced.

It works so well as a centrepiece!

It's a good reminder that panels aren't just cushions and bags (although we love those too). They're centrepieces, wall hangings, quilt blocks, framed pieces β€” the possibilities!

So I'm asking: what have you made from our panels that wasn't the obvious thing?

Drop it in the comments, or tag us in a photo β€” we love seeing where they end up.

(Haven't filled in the plain back panel survey yet? Link's in the comments β€” two minutes, and it shapes what we do next.)

We need your help with something β€” two minutes, and it genuinely shapes the direction we take.

When you make a cushion or a bag from one of our panels, there's always the question of the back. Some of you want a matching plain from us. Some of you raid your own stash. Some of you might want the whole thing as a set. And honestly? We're guessing which.

So we'd rather just ask you.

It's a quick form β€” six taps, plus one box at the end if you've got more to say. Your answers tell us whether to make more matching plains, look at sets, or put that time into more printed designs instead.

Thank you β€” every answer matters. 🧡

Right β€” picking your brains. We get asked all the time about matching plains, and we want to know what most of you really want before we decide where to put our time next. Six quick taps, plus a box at the end if you fancy saying more. Thank you for being the kind of customers who actually tell us...

Tuesday after a long weekend, the sun is somehow still here, and the summer drop is live on the website.
67 new prints in this one. Broadly four collections: funky brights by Gemma at .and.roar.designs, a painterly florals collection I designed myself, a peaceful-to-colourful set - I started with a koi pond and got a bit carried away with, and three collections you voted for on Facebook.
Best thing to do is go for a wander on the site β€” it’s a big drop, and the the joy of a new collection is going to find what’s yours. Have a browse, tell me your favourite picks.

Last part of the summer fabric panels collection β€” and a different mood entirely.
Two painted parrots, properly colourful ones. And a painted flowers panel that's just bold β€” that's the word for it.
Where yesterday's mum-and-baby panels are soft and quiet, these want a confident room. A reading-chair statement maybe. Something to anchor a sofa that needs waking up.
Same collection, completely different jobs. I love that they're not trying to be the same thing β€” sewing a cushion run that mixes the soft animals with these bolder ones would be brilliant, actually. Now I'm thinking about it.
Three panels. Which one's calling you?

The mum-and-baby panels from the new summer collection are the ones I keep coming back to.
Honestly, looking at these makes me wish my kids were small again β€” I'd have sewn the lot of them for my daughter's bedroom in a heartbeat.
Four panels to choose from. One, all four, or any mix.
Who would you sew cushions like these for?

Maciek and the Machines.
The week started with the encoder strip problem on the Mimaki β€” a small clear strip that tells the printer where the print head is, and when it's not happy nothing prints right. Maciek sorted it. (Pic 2 of what he was dealing with, for the curious.)
Then the HP Stitch decided its software needed reinstalling from scratch. Full set-up from zero. Maciek sorted that too.
Printing resumed. Beautiful. And then β€” and this is the bit I love β€” he realised we'd forgotten to order the cleaning cartridge. The machine, very reasonably, refuses to work without one.
He's the calmest man on earth about all of this. Here's hoping the rest of the week behaves.

Part two of the summer panel collection β€” Seascapes.
Waves, tide pools, sailing boats, a lighthouse, a quiet little rowboat in clear water. Six panels, all designed to make you feel like you've taken a deep breath.
These ones really shine on cushions. The kind of panel you sit and look at β€” on the sofa, on the bed, on the chair by the window where you take your tea.
Which one would you have on your sofa? I've picked these 3, printed on French Velvet for exta softness.

Right, I need your help β€” and this one's hard.
I'm finishing up the summer pattern collection. Yes, I know β€” summer is technically already happening and I'm only just getting here. But honestly, given everything that's gone on these last few months, finishing a summer collection at all feels like a small miracle. So we're calling it on time. β˜€οΈ
Here's where I'm at. I've got the bright and funky end of the collection sorted β€” the bold florals, the punchy animals, the patterns that walk into a room and announce themselves. (You'll have seen some of them on the feed already.) But something's missing. The collection needs a quieter pattern. Something a bit slower, a bit more grown-up. Not bland β€” we don't do bland β€” just a different pace. The kind of print that sits next to the loud ones and lets them breathe.
So I went looking. And then I kept looking. And then β€” like the absolute pattern addict I am β€” I couldn't stop. Hours of it. Tab after tab.
I've narrowed it down to 8. That is genuinely the best I can do. Picking between them is excruciating β€” every time I think I've landed on one, another one catches my eye and I'm back at the start.
This is where you come in.
Have a scroll through. Tell me which one you'd most like to see printed on fabric. Just one β€” I know, I know, it's hard, but that's the whole point. If you could only buy a metre of one of these for your next make, which one is it?
I'll be reading every comment. 🩷
