* FULL-TIME SEWING MACHINIST *
This is a full-time role (min 32 hours - Max 40 per week) for someone who is efficient, detail-oriented,
and motivated to work both independently and as part of a
small, friendly team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience
working with industrial sewing machines, a strong eye for
detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines without
compromising on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a range of industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently (e.g., lockstitch, overlockers, pressing equipment).
Cut, sew, steam, and finish textile products to a high standard.
Maintain an organised and efficient workstation.
Follow specifications and standard operating procedures to produce accurate, high-quality products.
Work flexibly as part of the production team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, team leaders, and supervisors.
Take ownership of your work while contributing positively to team goals and company standards.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience using industrial sewing machines, or a relevant qualification/degree.
Strong understanding of sewing techniques (seam types, stitch types, fabric handling, finishing).
Ability to cut and prepare textiles accurately and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude.

Salary: £12.60 min per hour (dependent on experience)
