We have a busy weekend coming up with Carol Munro. Her presentation will be on Saturday at the normal time and then on Sunday she will be leading us in a quilting workshop (10am -4pm). If you have booked a place on Sunday’s workshop then Rhona will be collecting full payment on Saturday, so come prepared and you will need to bring payment for Carol’s fabric kits and your packed lunch on Sunday.
Preparations for the summer exhibition are in hand. Anne emailed members the submissions form before Easter but if it should have gone in your spam folder then a limited number of paper copies will be available on Saturday. You can also download the submissions form and volunteer form from the Exhibitions page on the group website (https://www.bordertextilegroup.org.uk/copy-of-events). You will have a full day to finish UFO’s at the May meeting and Vanessa will need an indication of what you plan to submit (ie the completed form not the items) by 13th MAY. If you are able to help with providing display materials, boards, mannequins etc please let Vanessa know.
You can also also pick up posters and flyers on Saturday to help us promote the event.
