This is the first thing I’ve made in a long while - an XL four strand lanyard for a camera. Of course, this can be made with any attachment - I can provide standard ones, or if you have anything in mind, you can provide the attachment, or the link to where I can purchase it.

P R E T T Y I N P I N K 🎀

Wow! This was something really different for me - solid pastel pink.

This was the first time I’d ever made a set of purely one colour and I have to admit, I thought it was going to be difficult because I usually use the different colours in a lead to follow a pattern, especially if I stop and come back to it, different colours helps me see where I left off, but this was actually pretty straightforward, and a pleasure to make. The end result exceeded my expectations as well.

The brief for this was “Boodles”. So for those of you who know your luxury and high-end jewellery, you will know that Boodles is one of the top jewellers in the UK (think Posh & Becks), and the recipient of this set is actually a Boodles dog. That’s right, she (and her mum) work in one of the Boodles boutiques, so she had to be kitted out right!

I think she’ll look the part in amongst all the sparkly diamonds. 💎 What do you think? 🎀

S E A K E L P 🌊

I was asked to make this for a soon-to-be island dog, and these colours just kept making me think of sea kelp, so that’s what I called it.

She will be making a new life on the Isle of Bute in the not too distance future, and I think this set will suit her and her new home perfectly.

🖤 🌈

I loved making this black lanyard with a flash of rainbow last week.

Understated but a little bit ‘extra’.

I have these claps in rainbow moons and stars, and silver moons and stars. I’ve never seen them anywhere else, so I like that I have something a little bit different to offer. They can also be done with a safety breakaway barrel if you need them for schools or hospitals for example.

S O N N Y 🐾

The cutest little guy asked me for another collar. I’m always so happy to make these little collars, and when I get returning customers. It means a lot.

I haven’t made a lot over the last few months as life has been a bit crazy, but hit me up if you see anything you like.

This dinky little collar was made from a miniature dachshund.

One colour fishtail braid, a small (but mighty) plastic clasp and a welded black d ring.

Here he is. River in his ‘invisible’ collar.

River isn’t used to wearing collars, and his mum isn’t too keen on them, but after he did a wee disappearing act a couple of weeks go (he came back eventually), she changed her mind about having some form of ID on him, but it had to be as discreet and sleek as possible.

B L A C K O N B L A C K 🖤

I’m still here, making things occasionally, when I’m asked, but just keeping it casual as most parts of the rest of my life are super-busy right now.

I was asked to make an “invisible” collar for a black Lab. The owner doesn’t much like collars, but her toe-rag Lab did a runner recently and she realised the importance of having ID on him. So we (obviously) did black cord, with a black clasp, and to make it even more slick, we omitted putting on a d ring. The dog is slip lead trained so no need for that really anyway. She has also ordered a black flexitag so that again, it’s barely visible and there’s no metal hanging down.

I will get a picture of him wearing it soon hopefully, and I’ll post it so that you CAN’T see the collar! 😂

I think it’s going to look super-slick on the handsome but cheeky lad! 🖤
