We send out around 18 clothing bundles to babies and children each month. They are packed full of essential clothing items that every child needs. Sadly we are always in need of pants and socks for children from age 18 months -5 years. Our supplies of new or as-new are currently very low. Clean underwear is something every child deserves. If you feel you can help us by donating a pack of pants or socks we would really appreciate it. Thank you for your support 🙏❤

This feedback from a recent family we were able to support highlights just how important donating and re-distributing clothing is ♻ Many families don't have the ability to be able to keep up with the constant demand of clothing a growing child. Thankfully due to the hugely generous community we have around us we were able to hand on well over 200 clothing bundles last year to families - totalling up an incredible 10,000 + items of clothing that went on to give another child comfort, warmth and joy ❤ It makes a difference.

We are going to remain closed for donations of clothing and equipment until after half term but we are still taking in anything from the list above as these are items are either low in stock or we don't currently have any in. Supermarkets very often have offers on underwear for children over the holidays and we would really appreciate any donations of these into our foodbank donation point bins at your local supermarket. 🙏 Thanks for all your support - what a generous community we have 🙂

This week we have taken delivery of our National warehouse corporate donations so public donations remain closed until next week - We will post again once we are back open. We are however looking for the following: ⭐ Cots/cot-beds (no mattresses unless brand new please) ⭐Sterilisers and ⭐ Breast pumps (again new or as-new only please!) The FOUNDRY'S lovely Senior Community Manager Hanna wanted to raise money for a local baby charity at their Easter Party which coincided with her last day before her maternity leave. She loved what Baby Basics stood for and knew it was the one she wanted to raise money for.
They decided to do a baby guessing game where members had to guess baby’s birth date and weight with the sweepstake money raised to go to Baby Basics Eastbourne.
Thanks to all at the FOUNDRY for being a wonderfully generous community!
They raised enough money for us to be able to support a vulnerable new mother with a labour bag and nappy caddy toiletries for baby. ❤
Raising funds for our project is vital in being able to continue to do the work we do, supporting professionals in caring for the most vulnerable families in our town. We are hugely grateful. 🙏

Happy Tuesday all!
We have had to CLOSE DONATIONS temporarily as we sort and process the amount we have had in recently and change over from Winter to Summer stock. To avoid you any wasted trips please don't bring anything to the warehouse as we won't be able to take it. The ONLY exception to this are the items we put on our stories for individual pieces of equipment.

One of the lovely Health Visitors we help to support shared this message from one of her families with us the other day. It's so important to be able to get around outside with your baby and children. Not only good for your health and well being as a new parent , but for your baby as well, and then of course there is the business of getting to the shops for food and being able to make appointments. A pushchair is an absolute lifeline for families. Thanks to the generous support of our community we are able to pass these on to relieve some of the pressure families in poverty are facing. Thank you for your kindness ❤

This week's most needed items. We would be very thrilled to receive any of these if you are able to donate. Don't forget if you would like to donate to us financially you can do so through the link in our bio. Making a monetary contribution allows us to cover any shortfalls in donations and to also be able to buy in new items like pants and socks which are often not in decent enough condition to be passed on. As always thanks for all your generous support in helping this brilliant project reuse and recycle within our community. ❤
