We’re exhausted, both a bit low level ill and have a terrifying amount to do before we move on Sunday!

Your orders are just being packed up, mostly by Rob while I write this. Then we’re back to the new house to paint. It’s so busy with tradesmen during the day now that we can’t really do anything unless it’s in the conservatory.

And we swore we’d never buy IKEA again, but with 6 kids and limited space in their rooms… here we are!

Such an exciting few days for us. We’re still working on the house amidst other working too. Not so much parenting this weekend thanks to lovely grandparents.

We have a good sized garage which is going to become our stock and packing area - and hopefully a bit of a coat store first too. We’ll keep you updated on our progress.

It’s a double great day here today. Our oldest boy is 11 and we have the keys to our new house! Come and join us for a tiny (far more quiet) bit of our day so far.

The garage is going to become Yummikeys stick area and the outside office our HQ ☺️

Almost asleep. Still fiddling.

I love that little hand holding on to our feeding necklace.

Something to keep those fingers busy while they feed, have a cuddle and get sleepy.

And your other ni**le gets to be left in peace for once.

That tiny fist wrapped round your hair. The surprisingly strong grip. The absolute refusal to let go.

Our feeding necklaces give those busy little hands something cool, smooth and shiny to explore while you feed or cuddle.

Because we know you’d quite like to finish a feed with the same amount of hair you started with.

That’s what makes stainless steel so interesting for little hands. It feels cool and smooth, catches the light as they turn it and jingles as they shake it.

A different sound, a different feel, something else to investigate. And obviously straight into the mouth for further research.

It’s a lovely little hand until it’s slapping you in the face.

We sometimes get comments saying feeding necklaces stop babies using their hands to stimulate the breast. But that’s not why parents buy them.

It’s the scratching. The hair pulling. The repeated slap in the face when you’re just trying to feed them!

This lovely mum isn’t wearing one here, but this is exactly why we make them. You’re already providing lunch. You shouldn’t have to donate a handful of hair as well.

Who does what at Yummikeys?

I’ve got two jobs: I work as an accountant and I do the Yummikeys social media. Rob runs pretty much everything else.

We design products together and talk about the business all day. Then Rob actually gets on with making it happen while I film him packing orders 😂

It works for us. My accountant wage gives us a stable income while we grow Yummikeys, and the way we work means we can take care of our six kids together. There’s always someone needing a lift, a snack or help finding their shoes ❤️
