There’s something really special about working one to one and helping to bring my students visions to life.

I really love a challenge and to explore the fabrics that they have or to give them guidance on how to approach making an item like a quilted vest, pillow or even a wall hanging.

I really feel that days I feel low like today its so important to look at how much I have achieved and really I’ve grown so much as a teacher over the year I’m proud of myself.

Every person I work with brings something different, and it’s always amazing to see how quickly skills build with a bit of focused time and guidance. From first stitches to confident making.
It’s such a rewarding process to be part of.

If you’ve been wanting to start a project but didn’t know where to begin, or you’d like support developing your skills further, I offer one-to-one sessions tailored completely to you.

Garments, interiors, accessories—whatever you have in mind, we can work through it together.

Send me a message to enquire or book a session 🧵

New work — an ode to spring 🌷

I’m finally getting back into the rhythm of making again, and I’ve got some really exciting vests, jackets, and quilted pieces in the works for the coming months.

This week’s focus has been on stencilling, folky embroidery, and pulling together a rich, feel-good palette.

Sharing a few samples and textile experiments — I had such a good time making these, and I hope you enjoy them just as much ✨

What do you think of my designs?
Love
Anne

Patchwork Play Workshop ✂️🧵

I’m running a special Saturday workshop at the end of the month, and there are just a few spots left!

This relaxed, creative session will guide you through both machine and hand stitching techniques, with beautiful hand embroidery details woven in— including a touch of sashiko.

You’ll explore how to combine fabrics and colour in an intuitive, artful way, creating your own unique piece—whether that’s a wall hanging, large coaster, or textile sampler. All materials are provided, carefully selected from my collection of natural fabrics.

🗓 Saturday 28th March

⏰ 11am – 4pm

Come spend a day sewing, experimenting, and making something truly personal.

Thanks again for hosting me and my students.

Send me a message if you’d like to join 💌
I can give you a wee discount!

Love,

Anne

Let’s make something joyful (and sustainable) together 🌈♻️

I’ve refreshed my website (link in bio) and want to draw your attention to my one-to-one sessions… where the magic really happens.

We slow down.

We play with colour.

We work with quality, consciously chosen materials.

We build skills that last.

Want to feel braver with colour combinations?

Curious about quilting or slow stitch?

Ready to finally dive into patchwork or make your own vest?

Whether you’re a total beginner or refining your craft, our session is completely tailored to you — your pace, your style, your creative goals.

Sustainable skills.

Playful process.

Beautiful, handmade results.

If that sounds like your kind of learning, head to the website via the link in my bio or send me a message and let’s plan your personalised workshop.

Let’s create something colourful and conscious together 🌿✨

✨ Abstract Art Quilt Workshop ✨

I just wanted to shine a light on this beautiful workshop where you’ll learn the skills to create a larger abstract art quilt and ultimately a finished piece of textile wall art to hang in your home.

In this workshop we’ll cover:

🧵 Curved seams (a little more challenging, but absolutely achievable if you’ve sewn before)

🧵 Slow quilting stitches to embellish and bring your design to life

🧵 Finishing and edging your piece

February is now fully booked, but spaces are available for March. I keep these workshops very small — just three people per course — to allow plenty of support and discussion. There is a class in March, May and onwards so please discuss with me if one doesn’t work for you.

This workshop is also a wonderful way to recycle reclaimed or meaningful fabrics you already have. Cotton and linen work beautifully, but if you have a particularly precious piece (even silk), we can thoughtfully plan how to include it — or use it as a stepping stone for future projects.

I’m so grateful for the conversations, encouragement, and support I’ve been receiving lately — I’ve honestly been blown away by and the generosity of this community 🤍
If you’re ever curious at all just enquire.

All my love, and hopefully see you at a workshop soon,

Anne 🧵✨
