MARKET DAY!!

We are at the market today at Bellfield, on Bellfield Street in Portobello with loads of other AMAZING makers. Seriously, I can’t wait for my mum to arrive to watch my stall so I can go and shop! It’s just along from the beach, and the ☀️ is shining! What could be a better Sunday activity than a beach stroll and a visit to a superb makers market! Come and say hi!!

🎄VIRTUAL MARKET DAY - 15% OFF

Hello lovely people, we hope everyone is doing ok! The news is s**t (my advice…know what you need to, then stop watching it 🙈).

We were supposed to be doing our very first market today with , but it’s been cancelled (absolutely rightly) because of the developing covid s**tshow. So instead we’re bringing you our very own VIRTUAL MARKET direct from The Wee Figh studio from 1pm today!!

We’re hoping to do a lot of markets next year, so we’re using today as an opportunity to test our market set up. We’re going to do lots of videos on stories of our stock. Videos work well because you can see the texture of the knits, and also see different knits against each other.

We’re going to be offering a DISCOUNT today with 15% off all our knits and jackets. And that’s not all…it’s also FREE POSTAGE when you spend over £40, or free local pickup from Edinburgh for any spend.

We are also going to do VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS. Either comment below and let me know what sizes you’re interested in, and I’ll do a personal video for you, or we can arrange a video chat (DM me to arrange).

Any knits purchased today will be lovingly wrapped in our Eco-friendly packaging, and sent out first class tomorrow. If you’re sending a knit as a gift, let us know and we can include a gift note on your behalf.

🐾Character jumpers🐾

There’s just 5 days to order from us to get it in time for Christmas! We have a small collection of character jumpers at the moment that would make the perfect gifts for little fans!

First up we’ve got Chase from Paw Patrol. This one is a small 2-3 years, or a big 1-2 years. Very good quality yarn.

Next we’ve got handknitted Bing! Size 3-4 years. Lovely soft knit.

Finally, we’ve got a vintage Doctor Who number! Complete with a tardis on the back. We’ve sized it at 6-7 years, but it will fit up to 8 years.

🧶 Popcorn knits 🧶

Happy Monday! Hope everyone has had a relaxing weekend! We had a family Christmas party on Saturday night and kept Fergus up past his bedtime, so we’ve had a quiet day today to catch him up on naps. But we’ve got our tree up and we’re feeling super festive 🎄💫

Today I’m doing a little spotlight on popcorn knits. We ♥️ popcorn knits at The Wee Figh and they are bang on trend. Swipe through the photos to have a look at our knits which have popcorn detailing. There’s some really gorgeous colours! We can add any of our animal or Christmas badges to these, making them really unique pieces.

For the days in the run up to the Christmas post deadline, we’re going to be suggesting sustainable gift options from The Wee Figh. Today, I thought I’d tell you about our animal badge collection…

I was doing some forward planning this evening and our trusty Royal Mail’s last posting date for Christmas is the 21st of December. That means the last date for Wee Figh orders is 20th of December, to allow us a day to get them in the post. 12 days’ time…the last day for Wee Figh post is in 12 days’ time! So, I thought 💡 “Why don’t I do 12 days of posts (gettit?!), to remind you all?”. So here I am with post no. 1, and in doing so I’m going to showcase some of the beeeeaaauuuutiful things you could buy from the Wee Figh as Christmas gifts in the next 12 days!

First up, personalised denim jackets!! We have a range of preloved but excellent condition denim jackets on our website available for personalisation. Simply pick your jacket, fabric, a cute lil badge, and we’ll provide you with something so cool that your little one will wake up in the middle of the night asking to put it on* (seriously, this happened).
