Victoria & George Based in Bruntsfield, we sell rustic antique and vintage furniture and homewares. We are also an official stockist for Annie Sloan and Fusion paint.

Many of our pieces date back to the Victorian and Georgian period. We restore furniture and offer classic country finishes. We travel across the UK to discover beautiful items and import furniture from countries around the world, including Belgium, India and France. We also buy furniture, and take on furniture-painting commissions. We are open 11am - 5pm, Wednesday to Sunday, or message us to make an appointment outside these hours.

Have you ever fancied a bank of antique apothecary drawers that is functional as well as beautiful?

We were lucky enough to discover two of these sets a couple of years ago. One of them was snapped up, and the other went home with us as we couldn't resist. We now have four banks of drawers and that seems a bit greedy, so we are looking to find the large one below a new home.

It's a late Victorian/early 20th century piece with original glass k***s and beautiful dovetailed drawers. Brilliant condition and measuring 150cm long and 53cm high. It would make a stunning standalone piece, TV stand or tabletop storage. Priced at £895.

Delivery can be arranged within Edinburgh/Lothians or you are welcome to collect/view the piece in East Lothian.

HAPPY NEW YEAR (and our biggest paint sale!)

That's a very belated Happy NY, but hopefully you remember us? :)
As you might recall, our wee Bruntsfield shop closed down last May. We have been taking a wee break as we set up our East Lothian workshop (customers can view our antiques and curios soon) but for now we are now going to start selling on our social media platforms again - at some very good prices.

First up, we're having a PAINT SALE, featuring our fabulous Fusion Mineral Paint.

There will be loads on offer - from pots of paint, metallics, super Cling-On! brushes, SFO, waxes - lots of products to pick from. We don't have the full range in stock currently, but we've got a decent selection of colours. The list is coming SOON, we just want to scan the shelves and refresh our memories, so we know exactly what we've got to offer.

To give you an idea of our sale prices, a pint sized pot of Fusion will be £19.95 - that's a saving of £7 off the RRP.
Mini/tester pots will be £3.

We offer local collection or postal delivery... and if you spend over £75, courier delivery will be FREE. 🎨

We're bidding farewell to our wee Bruntsfield shop today, so it is your very last chance to bag some bargain antiques and paint.

We're particularly keen to sell the pieces featured on the Facebook post below this one, and we're open to reasonable offers on the large pieces of furniture. The bookcase in particular is worth a look and is a total bargain.

Here until 5pm, and then that's it - until the next chapter.

OPEN TODAY 9AM - 3.30PM

Well, this is it - our last official day of opening.

Thanks very much to everybody who has visited us this weekend. It's been very busy and we're glad to have said hello (and goodbye - but not really goodbye) to some familiar faces and some new customers too.

We still have a few big pieces which we'd prefer not to move out to our workshops in East Lothian and Midlothian, so we've included a few photos below and have reduced the prices on these.

Although today is our last day of trading, these will be available for pick up until the end of the week, so if you spot something you like, let us know. We'll be pottering in and out of the shop until Sunday.

If you've seen anything else in our photos or fancy some paint (which continues to be 20% off of course), you've also got until the end of the week to pick up.

LAST DAY (KIND OF) SALE!

Well folks, it's our last day (kind of - we will be open tomorrow, but there will be a lot of packing up going on, so bear with us!)

Come grab a nice, unique piece of furniture... Stock up on your Annie Sloan and Fusion paint, JoJo Co candles, or treat yourself to one of our smaller homewares and gifts.

Evening all. A selection of stock currently up for grabs in our closing down sale! Sorry for the rather chaotic photos, we've just grabbed pictures of what we can. Even more in store.

We're open TODAY until 5pm as part of our closing down sale.

Bear with us, we realise these photos aren't the best, but we've got two bargain pieces to share with you today. Our antique pine bookcase and vintage pigeon holes have been housing our paint for the past couple of years, and now it's time for them to find a new home!

The antique pine bookcase is in very good condition and holds a lot (as you can see!). Extremely large at 164.5cm wide x 198cm high x 29cm deep. It's available for pick up next Monday and you will need a courier. £425.

The vintage pigeon hole set is currently painted in Annie Sloan Chicago Grey, really lovely display piece that could be stripped back to the original wood. 76cm wide x 36cm deep x 119cm high £165.
