Can we just take a moment to say a massive thank you to our team in both our Glasgow and Edinburgh stores 👏

On Thursday morning, we had a bride come in absolutely shaking in tears — her kilts had been double booked elsewhere for this Sunday… just 3 days before her wedding.

Our team stepped in straight away. Calm heads, kind words, and a proper plan.

Fast forward a couple of days and the wedding is back on track — 8 kilts sorted across two different outfits, with the Duke Street team even helping with ideas on how to style the photos to make it all work perfectly:

• 4 in one outfit

• 4 in the other

What that wedding party needed wasn’t just kilts — it was reassurance, support, and kindness and that’s exactly what our team delivered.

Absolutely brilliant effort from everyone involved — we’re genuinely proud of you all ❤️

Everybody counts. To the young homeless guy I was chatting to about the cold weather coming, this is what I've done;

We sourced some outdoor clothing and we've put together a Winter Survival Pack to help ANYONE who needs to stay warm and dry for the coming storm and we're happy to help anyone need it, no questions asked.

The pack consists of:

1 waterproof jacket
1 waterproof trousers
1 Base layer shirt
1 Base layer Long John's
1 Thermal trousers
1 Gore Tex Mitts
1 x Warm socks (kilt socks of course)
Foldable Backpack
Self inflating mattress (R value 5)
Waterproof Roll mat (R value 2.6)

These kits will be available in our Glasgow store Friday after 3pm and our Edinburgh store from 10am Saturday until we run out, to avoid any stigma we're not giving them away, we're selling these at 10p a pack and yes, we will accept IOU's......

They're available to ANYONE who needs to stay warm and dry over the next few days, just pop in and we'll do our best.
