Hello from me and my little sidekick 🐾

That's us back from our holiday, cases finally unpacked and we are reminiscing of the 30 degree days now the rain is lashing down...

I can't believe it is mid-October already and (dare I say it) Christmas is right around the corner! This year has gone by so fast...it's kind of a blur!

This is my favourite time of year for crafting so I'm looking forward to hopefully getting my creative stride back. I've definitely felt very lost this year but if anything can bring me back it's the next few months 🎃🎅

Quick question: Halloween film recommendations? I LOVE scary, thrillers, gore you name it! Or maybe a series?

We are heading off on a much needed family holiday tomorrow for some sunshine!

My mum's moving in to ours to keep things moving with collections/deliveries etc...and for Miss Luna of course ❤️

I'll be reopening towards the end of next week...probably on the Friday...depending on how tired we all are 😅

I mentioned yesterday that I've been enjoying being creative just for fun, and one thing I'm finding relaxing is drawing and colouring with acrylic markers

❤️ A LITTLE CHECK IN ❤️

I know I've been VERY quiet on here recently...I honestly don't know where the time goes.

One thing I do want to confirm is that I am still open for business and very busy in the background. I've just let the social media side of things slide...but this is me trying to get better...starting today.

Unfortunately, as some of you will already know, I very recently lost my lovely mother-in-law. The sadness is intense. For 25 years she has been a huge part of my life. I grew up as part of her family 💔 So right now we are all navigating the loss and taking it one day at a time.

Losing Jane has reminded me how precious life is, how I should take nothing for granted, that tomorrow isn't promised to any of us and to do what makes me happy. But also to slow down...and that it is ok to slow down...Jane was forever telling me this...and I now get it!

One thing I am finding that helps me when I'm feeling overwhelmed by everything is being a little creative without a purpose - drawing, making a little bracelet, drafting an idea...so I'm going to get myself back to business making little moments of happiness...one day at a time ❤️

PS Hold those you love dearly, tell them that you love them, be kind to others, smile at a stranger and live each day to the fullest xx

I've loved having a relaxed summer with my girlies making more incredible memories. I'm also looking forward to having more "me time" to devote to being creative at Sparkles HQ.

Just me, and my pup, checking in to say hello!

I've been quiet on here over the last few weeks soaking up the school holidays with the kids, celebrating Mr B's birthday and loving on Miss Luna. How gorgeous has the weather been ☀️

That doesn't mean I haven't been busy with orders and requests though - thank you ❤️

As always, I LOVE a new month. I see it as the start of a fresh chapter full of opportunities and excitement! I'm looking forward to getting myself back out there, being creative and sharing my creations with you!
