🏰 10 Years Under the Castle
Yes, you didn’t read that wrong! This market day marks our 10th year at Grassmarket. ❤️
When we first started trading at Grassmarket, we would meet traders who had been trading there and at other outdoor markets for years, and we were mesmerised by them. Now, we realise that we are those experienced traders!
We’ve been through thick and thin over these 10 years. We’ve had our “extreme weather” days, “carry boxes from home on foot” days, “not a single sale” days, “cash only” days, “masks on” days, and so on and so forth. We’ve also made many valuable friendships, all thanks to the markets.
Over the years, we’ve come to feel part of this much bigger family. But our little family has grown, too, over these 10 years. And so have our products and displays!!! 😁
Just look at the massive difference between our very first stall and our latest one. What a proud moment! 😌
Here’s to many more years under this beautiful castle, together with this lovely family. ❤️
