I'll be back at Markets | Pop Up’s | Workshops | Events Makers Market in Portobello town hall for Octobers edition but this time I will be bringing my sewing machine 🪡🧵 and a whole load of patches to customise yours and your kids clothes while you wait! ✨️🤩

From simple colourful shapes to cover up holes/stains/naff logos to some really fun designs to jujj up any old clothes. ✨️👕

Tag a Porty pal who would love this and tell me in the comments what you'd like to see on a patch... I might even give the best idea a free patch 🤷‍♀️

Sorry, it's been a quiet week from me! My son started nursery on Tuesday so I haven't really had the head space to be making. But he's doing so well and absolutely loving it so far 🥹 so I can probably clear some brain space to get creative again 🤞!

I do have an exciting event coming up which I will post about soon 🤩

Today is also the final day of my competition and I will be announcing the winner tomorrow (as long as I can work out how to do it and can do it all during nap time.)

I made these trousers in September last year and they have been worn SO much.

A little tumble the other day made a little hole in the knee and I've been wanting to give Sashiko style stitching a go.

I had this patchwork square in a box of unfinished projects and thought it would be a perfect addition to the trousers. Secured with whip stitches and then covered in colourful running stitches.

My son was happy when I showed him the new look and immediately put them on - marking this one down as a win!

Tune in next week when I will probably be covering a beetroot stain on this top.

My son barely fits this top but that doesn't mean it's not worth fixing up and giving it a bit more time with us and it is now less likely to be thrown away when we donate it to a charity shop.

I've spent all day preparing for tomorrows workshop where I will be teaching exactly how to do things like this! Last tickets still available in my bio!

Will you be giving it a go?

I got a bundle of whimsy second hand fabric remnants and this was jumping out at me to be used first!
