One has helped me grow my business.
The other has helped me find my voice.
Both have introduced me to incredible people.

Sometimes the biggest changes in our lives begin simply by walking into the right room.

This week I'm pressing mugs for someone I've got to know through Speakers Club.

A few years ago we were strangers.
Now we're travelling to a business conference together.

That's why I love this job.
Sometimes I'm not just making products.
I'm creating something for people I've built genuine relationships with.

✨ A year ago, I couldn't have imagined this.

For years I thought I was shy.

Now I'm helping to host networking events, becoming President of my local Speakers Club and heading to a national business conference.

The surprising part?
I'm still an introvert.
I just found rooms where I could be myself.
That's taught me something important.

💙 Prepare before opportunity arrives.
Keep learning.
Keep showing up.
Keep saying yes.

Because sometimes one conversation is all it takes to change your direction.

I didn't find confidence. I found my people.

We've all had one of those moments.
The good news?
I spotted it before pressing!
Mistakes happen.
The important part is catching them before your customer ever knows they almost happened.

Listening.
Keeping your word.
Making the process easy.

And you realise that's your reputation.

✨ Compliments tell us what to protect.
This week, three different people complimented me.
And yes...
I accepted them with what I hope looked like grace.....and what probably looked like mild embarrassment! 😂
But afterwards I realised something.

We spend so much time looking for feedback on what we should improve...
We rarely stop to notice what people already value.
Maybe that's what compliments are really for.
Not to make us feel good.
To remind us what we should never lose.

✨ The best part of this week wasn't a product.
It was the conversations.
Looking back over the last few days, I'm reminded that every opportunity, every new idea and every exciting project started with someone taking the time to have a conversation.
That's something I never want to take for granted.
Here's to another week of meeting good people, sharing ideas and seeing where those conversations lead.
