I have been sitting on this one for a quite a long time. But as my client - Trudy shared photos with me from her 3rd daughter’s wedding I can show you. I have known Trudy for a long time. I have had the pleasure to make her an outfit for each of her daughter’s wedding. Trudy would come with an idea of a design and we would together select the materials and get started. She has shared with me that every time she has picked her style, she would be doubted by others if it would look nice. Being very petite you have to be careful with proportions ( even the hanger was too wide to fit) This design gave me a bit of challenge as each petal is hand cut and hand sewn. It was difficult to get the timeline predicted and I was very pleased with myself to estimate the fabric usage just right. It was my pleasure to be part of this journey over the last ten years. Beautiful Romi got married on Saturday and remembered to share some moments from her special day together with kind words. I have helped her to fit her wedding dress. Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for all your time making my dress perfect!🤍

My happy place. Where the magic happens. Only it’s not a magic. It’s a combination of imagination, creativity and patience. Something that you are born into or have been passionate about from an early age. I can claim both. My grandmother was a dressmaker and I wanted to do what she did from the very early age. She thought me knitting, crocheting, embroidery and sewing. She was and still is my biggest fan. In a month time she will turn 97 years old and still takes an interest in my work. And we still have a discussions about how to tackle certain tailoring tasks.

Holly got married yesterday. When she came to collect her wedding dress with her mum and daughter, she gave me a gift. A gardening gift which sums me up perfectly if you know me. I know I keep repeating myself but I do have the best brides. Brides who enjoy the experience I offer. I will treasure the journey we have shared and meeting the people important to Holly.

I would recommended every bride to visit Jitka and her boutique and I am so glad I found her!

Jitka is an incredibly talented lady and her dresses are all individual and absolutely stunning. She can design and make you the dress of your dreams (as she did for my sister in 2023), or you can choose from the beautiful selection of dresses she has already made in her boutique (as I did more recently!). If you like one ofJitka’s dresses already in her boutique she is also able to do alterations and adaptions to suit your needs and body shape etc too. She has a gorgeous selection of jewellery, accessories, and could even make your mother of the bride outfit too.

Honestly from the moment you step inside you’re wrapped in warmth, expertise, and genuine care that you simply won’t find anywhere else. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and unlike many other boutiques, you’re walking away with a totally unique dress that hasn’t been shipped in from overseas.
