Sujata World is a small business with a big heart, and a rich, meaningful story, which I hope to share with you through this page, and on our upcoming website. Suj

ata World specialises in sourcing authentic, handcrafted clothing and accessories, and the business is based on my love and admiration for the work, crafts and arts of people from around the world. And on my experience of curating and producing art and crafts, of course.
..maybe it all started with my grandmother and mother, who were weaving and embroidering cotton when I was a child. The memories of the times when people weren't so busy, constantly running around... and I am not even that old! :D

My intention is to work on a small scale, so that I can continue to source products which are authentic, unique and well made. Most of our products are made from recycled materials, in small rural communities. No big factories, no sweatshops. I will share photos of our artisans as we go on. We also sell vintage and pre-loved, sourced locally, and collaborate with a number of local makers. Enjoy the Sujata World, and keep in touch!

Dear all

Tomorrow (Monday) I am offering free group meditation, focusing on metta (loving kindness). We will talk, discuss, meditate, and share kindness and mutual support amongst us all, as well as send metta out into the world.
Come and join us!

It is FREEE, and EVERYONE is welcome.

You don't need to be a Buddhist, you don't need to have any knowledge or prior experience of meditation. This particular meditation is also great for children, so if they are old enough to understand short instructions, such as being able to imagine themselves in a certain situation, like when they are happy and laughing with their friends, for example, they are old enough to participate and benefit long term.

Metta meditation is an antidote to many things, particularly to anxiety and stress. I hear there is plenty of this going around these days... So whoever you are, wherever you are in the world, if you need some kindness, support, encouragement... come and join us! :-)
