The Evolution of Ruby Fury!

Hi everyone, it’s taken a while to get here but I have some major updates to share about the future of Ruby Fury.

As many of you know, this brand has always been about empowering women to be their best, most confident selves. Now, I’m taking that philosophy from the sewing room to a different side of my world....

Introducing: Ruby Fury Academy 🥋

I am beyond excited to announce that I will be teaching a range of martial arts based classes right here in Exmouth. I will be offering Kickboxing, Rage Release, Kenpo and Self-Defence classes. One of my main goals is to get more women interested in martial arts (although there will also be mixed classes) to build confidence and strength. I hope you’ll agree it makes sense to keep this under the Ruby Fury brand.

A New Chapter for Ruby Fury Activewear
To give this new venture the energy it deserves, and to adapt to how the world has changed lately, I’m evolving how I make leggings.

I will soon be moving away from holding a stock of fabric, and will no longer be taking website orders. Instead, I am shifting to an exclusive, fully bespoke service which means ordering directly from me. This will serve both my fully made to measure customers, and anyone who has a standard size.

The Benefit: You won't be limited to what I have on the shelf. You will be able to choose from hundreds of designs and colours from my supplier, and I will order the fabric specifically for you.

The Result: A truly custom, made-to-measure experience.

HUGE Sale Coming Soon.... To make space for this change, I need to clear out my workshop. I will be holding a massive sale on everything I hold in stock very soon—keep your eyes peeled for that announcement!

***CHRISTMAS ORDERS AND DELIVERY INFO***
This is a busy time of year and, as you know, I make everything to order and need a bit of time to get your items ready to send. Royal Mail will understandably be under a lot of strain this time of year too. So, with all of this in mind, I’m going to ask that any orders that need to arrive before Christmas are placed by Friday 12th December. And yes, that's only 2 weeks away! 🙈
Don't forget any items ordered now can be exchanged or returned until 16th January 2026 😊

I can't quite believe......Christmas Eve is just one month away 🙈
So I'm looking back having a good giggle at some of our old Christmas photoshoots. Prosecco for breakfast was always the best way to get some hilarious pics 🥂 🤣

As always, the Ruby Fury returns policy is extended for the festive period. Any orders placed throughout November and December can be returned or exchanged until Friday 16th January 😊

It's now 8 years since Ruby Fury began!

Which means it's time for an update on everything.......

Last year I confessed to feeling uninspired and worn out. I knew I needed to work less, to detach a bit from social media and get off the merry-go-round of launching more and more new prints. I needed space to think, and some time for myself. I continued making leggings, but with much less pressure.

Turning 50 this year gave me an excuse to go on holidays, take up challenges and reconnect with old friends. Doing all of this without too much stress from the business has really helped me recharge.

So now, feeling energised and inspired I can see a very clear path for Ruby Fury and for myself (it might not be what you think!) I'm busy making plans for some BIG changes next year which I am very excited about!

Look out for an announcement coming soon but, rest assured, the Ruby Fury brand will continue.....

I've just completed my 3 half marathons in 3 months challenge, and now I need a rest! I've got a big birthday coming up so I'm taking a holiday and a break from Ruby Fury. I won't be taking any orders for a few weeks, but everything will be back to normal at the end of June 😎

I've got my second of three half marathons coming up this weekend. I'm hoping this massage will make me quicker!

Massage for runners: Graham is running three half marathons in three months! She did the first, the Bath Half Marathon, a couple of weeks ago, and this month she’s heading to London for the Landmarks Half Marathon. And then in May it's the Great West Run in Exeter. So popping in to see Albie at Hands-on Health for some massage therapy is obviously a very good idea as part of her preparation for the events, and her recuperation afterwards.

I did a thing..... I ran the Bath Half Marathon! Although I've run this distance a few times before, I've never done a big road race like this. Bit scary, very tiring and thoroughly enjoyable.

For luck I wore the same leggings as I did two years ago when I ran my very first half marathon (a much smaller trail event) It worked, I completely smashed my personal best 😁

This photo popped up on my Facebook memories today. It was from a photoshoot we did FIVE YEARS AGO! Just a few weeks before covid turned our lives upside down. I didn't know it at the time, but these leggings would become a bestseller due to rainbows becoming a symbol of hope during those difficult times 🌈
