A distinctive 2-door (and 4-door) family car from Ford of Britain (1961-1963) known for its unique styling, or possibly the Ford Capri (a popular 2-door coupe) or the American-market Ford Mustang, both iconic Ford 2-door models, though "Classic" usually points to the Consul lin a UK.

Type: Mid-sized family saloon, available as 2-door or 4-door.
Engine: Straight-4, 1.3L or 1.5L.

Ford Corsair (Britain: 1963–1970)
This was a mid-size car, originally known as the Ford Consul Corsair, that was positioned between the smaller Cortina and the larger Zephyr/Zodiac models. It had a distinctive, bold design with a sharp, V-shaped nose that echoed the styling of the Ford Thunderbird in the US.
Production: 1963-1970.
Body Styles: Primarily a 4-door saloon, with 2-door saloon, estate (Abbott conversion), and convertible (Crayford conversion) versions also available.
Engines:
Initially used a 1.5-litre (1498 cc) Kent inline-four engine.
From 1965, the range was updated with Ford's Essex V4 engine, available in 1.7-litre (1663 cc) and 2.0-litre (1996 cc) displacements.
