Some people have this idea that you do nothing at all and money somehow magically appears in your account. After all, it’s passive right?

Not true, I’m afraid!

Creating passive income means creating an asset upfront that you can then make money from time and time again. The hard work is upfront but then it gets so much easier!

It's me...hi!

I know I have been away from Jack & Me for a couple of years now, so thought I'd better do a quick little reintroduction!

After running Jack & Me for a few years, the pressure of constant crocheting, late nights, not making enough money for my time started to get on top of me. I absolutely loved crochet...until I didn't. My love and energy for it was completely zapped. And I haven't picked up a hook in 2 years. My yarn stash is still here, I couldn't bring myself to sell it! I have started feeling the urge to start crocheting again, so I really hope I can get back into it as a hobby and do it for the love of it.

So what have I been up to? Well, I started my own Virtual Assistant business, which has gone from strength to strength. I've had the most amazing opportunities, work with THE BEST clients, and started growing my team. Last year I travelled to Paris for work, and this year I'll be going to New York!

As well as my business, I also make passive income from templates and ebooks.

A common misconception is that passive income is money you earn from doing nothing. But, the truth is, passive income is never truly passive. You do need to put some work in.
